CAPITAL CAMPAIGN

About Us

ABOUT US

In 2019, Inspiration Ranch seized the opportunity to purchase a beautiful new campus in Magnolia—our forever home. With ample space and room to grow, this property was the answer to our long-standing need for expansion. It now serves as a sanctuary not only for the children and adults we serve, but also for the families who love them, the horses who work alongside them, and the team who supports them.

That same year, we launched a $4.5 million capital campaign to fund the purchase and transformation of the property without long-term debt. Renovations were completed by the summer of 2019, and the Ranch began to feel like home. However, in early 2020, the campaign was placed on hold as we prioritized health and safety during the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite those challenges, our mental health programs continued, and therapeutic riding sessions resumed as soon as it was safe.

In 2024, with the demand for services at an all-time high, we relaunched our campaign—now with a goal of $5 million—to meet the growing needs of our community and fulfill our vision for the Ranch. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we have already raised $3 million. Now, we invite you to help us cross the finish line and bring healing and hope to every child and adult waiting to be served.

History & Purpose

QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE:

HISTORY & PURPOSE

Inspiration Ranch provides hope and improves the lives of those with physical, mental, and emotional challenges through Equine Assisted Services. We are a Premier Accredited Center through the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl.) and maintain a strategic partnership with Texas Children’s Hospital The Woodlands.

We offer two core programs (Equine-Assisted Therapeutic Riding and Mental Health and Learning) led by PATH Intl. certified instructors and licensed therapists, supported by dedicated volunteers and horses. Together, this experienced team works to foster confidence, build trust, and promote independence through meaningful interactions
and proven therapeutic practices.

The Clients We Serve

THE CLIENTS WE SERVE

At Inspiration Ranch, our Therapeutic Riding Program serves more
than 100 clients each week, helping children and adults with physical, emotional, and cognitive disabilities achieve greater independence, confidence, and connection. Each rider is partnered with a PATH Intl. Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor and supported by a team of trained volunteers who help guide every session with care and intention.

Since moving to our permanent home, we’ve more than doubled the number of clients we serve weekly and expanded to support those with over 35 different diagnoses. This level of growth and impact would not be possible without our dedicated team of more than 200 volunteers, who generously contribute over 7,000 service hours each year.

Our trauma-informed Mental Health and Learning Program is thoughtfully designed to harness the unique ability of horses to help individuals connect with their authentic selves, providing a safe and supportive space to explore and process emotions. Clients—including at-risk youth, victims of trafficking or abuse, and individuals navigating trauma—work with a licensed therapist, an equine specialist, and a horse in both group and individual sessions. This approach helps clients build emotional regulation, reconnect relationally, and foster healing through the powerful biofeedback response of the horse.

Horses help trauma survivors rewire neuropathways by engaging the brain’s survival systems in a safe, responsive environment. This innovative therapy model offers lasting emotional growth and a renewed sense of hope.
