Debbie Blackmon has joined Inspiration Ranch as its Equine-Assisted Mental Health Program
Coordinator. She is a licensed psychological associate with independent practice, has a trauma-informed care certification and will be offering equine-assisted psychotherapy to individuals, groups, and families with the help of our herd of horses.
Debbie has more than 30 years of experience in mental health. She has worked as a school counselor, in her own practice, and in equine-assisted therapy. She uses the Natural Lifemanship model to help clients learn how building positive relationships with a horse can be translated into real-life experience to help overcome trauma, cope with stress, and build better relationships. Her unique background and experience has the ability to bring hope and healing to clients.
Debbie is at Inspiration Ranch a few days a week and will take new clients as her schedule allows. Anyone interested in the Equine-Assisted Mental Health Program can reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org.
