Jordan

Jordan is a 17-year-old American Quarter Horse mare who, like many who work alongside our riders, finds herself at Inspiration Ranch in her retirement years. Of course, around here, the

word retirement is relative! Jordan spent the first 16 years of her life competing in trail classes at local and regional horse shows and going on the lengthy trails rides through cities and rural areas that are famous here in Texas. Jordan’s background has prepared her perfectly for equine-assisted therapeutic riding. She is well-traveled, sweet-tempered, and almost nothing surprises her.

Jordan arrived at Inspiration Ranch ready to serve. She impressed our staff by fast-tracking through the standard 90-day regimen that introduces horses into our program. The afternoon of her first lesson, she ended the initial shift of her new job by wrapping her neck around Kenneth, her first client, in a hug. Jordan has found her calling.
