The next day, I received a text message from his mom that said that he told her that “it was one of his best days ever!”. That is what it’s all about!

Horse Show Stories
"On Friday, the day of his show, he was super nervous and mustered up the courage to participate in the opening ceremonies. This was his first horse show and therefore everything was a new experience for him. He was faced with more change as he ended up riding a different horse for the English equitation class and yet a different one for the trail class. He did beautifully and was so proud of himself. We didn’t have the results of the class that day but he and his family were very pleased with his accomplishments. The next day, I received a text message from his mom that said that he told her that “it was one of his best days ever!”. That is what it’s all about! We were excited to learn that he got 6th place in the English equitation class and won 1st place in the trail class. That was icing on the cake!”

“My son Branden is an equestrian at Inspiration Ranch. He came to the ranch four years ago at the age of 10. This year, he made gold and bronze medals at the state horse show. He is so proud to be an Olympian! The most amazing and transformative aspect of these last four years is the friendship he developed with another rider, Miguel. I prayed daily from the time my son was 2 years old that he would one day have a friend and be a friend. My prayer was answered. Branden and Miguel are best friends. They play video games, go swimming, laugh, talk-more than I could have ever expected! And by developing this friendship, he's been able to make a few friends at school, too!”
